These terms apply to your use of ZomZam. By playing the game or browsing the site you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to hide anything.

The service

ZomZam publishes a free daily answer game, related hints, answer pages and archive pages. The game is provided free of charge for personal entertainment. We aim to publish one board per UTC day, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and the puzzles are offered as-is.

Using the site

You may play the game, share your results and link to our pages. You may not scrape the site at scale, resell our content, copy prompts or answer boards into another product, or use the site in a way that interferes with other players. Automated access is limited to ordinary search-engine and social-preview crawlers; anything else requires our written permission.

Content and intellectual property

Every prompt, answer board, hint, explanation and page on ZomZam is original work and is protected by copyright. The ZomZam name and logo belong to us. You are welcome to quote a short excerpt with a link back to the page, but you may not republish a full board or claim our puzzles as your own.

Answers and corrections

The boards are curated by human editors. Some prompts can reasonably accept more than one answer, and rarity ratings reflect an editorial judgement rather than an objective fact. If you believe an answer is missing or wrong, email us — corrections are reviewed and applied to future boards.

Third-party links and advertising

The site may contain links to third-party websites and may in future display third-party advertising. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those third parties. Advertising, if enabled, will be clearly separated from the game area.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The game is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZomZam is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site develops. The updated date at the top of the page shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
